October 17,  Wednesday Parent input meeting for DOE coordinated program review (audit)
We need input from parents about Concord Preschool / Kindergarten though Grade 8 (PreK-8) special education and 504's.
This is not a presentation, parents will asked answer questions and provide insight on their experiences with Concord's special education process.

We would like a head count.

October 18,  Thursday Richard Lavoie Social Skills Video and discussion
A video showing of Richard Lavoie's:
 "It's So Much Work to Be Your Friend"
 followed by a group discussion

This is a great chance to get out, socialize and be inspired by Richard Lavoie and his amazing work with children. 

Richard Lavoie, M.A., M. Ed has over 30 years of experience working and researching with kids with social disabilities such as ADHD and Aspergers is a nationally known expert.   His powerful strategies teach friendship skills in the classroom, at home and in the community.
