Created a SPED PAC wish list from our members' input

Created a list of books that our members have found helpful regarding special education issues
Developed our PAC Resource Library, with books located in both branches of the Concord Public Library
2000–present Began collaborating with neighboring town SPED PACs (e.g., Acton, Bedford, Harvard, Littleton, Lincoln, Sudbury)

Established a Concord SPED PAC discussion list that allows our members to post messages and share information relevant to special education issues

Members and board participated in the SPED PAC organizational meetings to establish more of a presence at our regional high school

Established a second discussion list, CC SPED PAC, for grades 9 through 12, and beyond for students to age 22

Members created spin-off interest groups, for parent support and networking  (e.g., CAPD, NVLD)

Inform general population about SPED PAC events in weekly and monthly school announcements and local town newspapers

1999–present SPED PAC team participated in the Concord Ed Fund Spelling Bee (and made it to the final round in 2000 and 2001)
1999 Set up a booth at the West Concord Family Festival to promote community awareness
2000 Participated in the Concord Ed Fund grant for Project Read training in the elementary schools
Grants
2000 Worte letter of supported for the grant to Concord Public Library for a PC-based book reader by Kurzweil
2000
Participated in the Concord Ed Fund grant for Project Read©/Language Circle© training in the elementary schools
2001 Provided research for other Concord Ed Fund grants.
2003
Supported the SPED department grant request for professional development for special educatiors in reasearch-based reading interventions (2 of LMB programs: LiPs, V&V) from the Concord Ed Fund.
