The College
Internship Program is a comprehensive post-secondary support
program for young adults on the Autism Spectrum and with Learning Differences. High level of motivation to meet program goals. Potential to live and work or attend college independently. CIP’s counseling program provides essential support and remediation for students as they strive to take charge of their life and become independent. Individual and group counseling are offered as well as consulting psychiatric services and consulting medical services. Specialize in students who have individualized greater level education needs. This is an expensive residential program. Students can get a college degree by going to a local community college. Students live in nearby apartments and recieve support cooking, cleaning and have roomates. There are activities available to the kids on the weekends if they choose, and it is located in the town center, so the students access local businesses easily. |

Program
is offered to Eagle Hill graduates only, and it runs the full calendar
year, providing students with an opportunity to take 5 courses at a
local college while living at Eagle Hill and getting academic support. Their summer program which is open to students ages 9 - 18. During the summer, focus on 4 academic areas: writing, reading, mathematics and social pragmatics. The program also includes elective classes, such as: graphic arts, woodworking, photography, model rocketry, etc. They also have camp activities and clubs. |

Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission - (Mass. Rehab.) is the state vocational rehabilitation agency which assists individuls with disabilities to live independently and go to work.
Social Security Administration - The Social Security (SS) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) disability programs are the largest of several Federal programs that provide assistance to people with disabilities. While these two programs are different in many ways, both are administered by the Social Security Administration and only individuals who have a disability and meet medical criteria may qualify for benefits under either program.
