Parent Comments:
”Jan takes a very professional approach to tutoring. She makes a real commitment to the student and in turn gets a commitment from the families she works with. She got to know my daughter very well and gave her the nudge she needed to succeed while at the same time made her feel quite secure and confident. For example, Jan knew that or daughter loves to draw so she incorporated our daughter’s strong and apparent talent into their sessions. Jan also provided a structured and predictable learning environment which was quite beneficial.”K.AK.
"Jan has tutored two of my children using the Telian method, a phonemic awareness system. It has made a big difference in pronouncing and spelling words. My son says "She's strict but you learn a lot. I like her prize system a lot." M.O.
